Epilogue to 3 Guys Paddling the Entire Fox River

Please see below for some pictures and thoughts sent to us by our modern day voyageurs.

This series of 4 photos showcases some of the early obstacles on the Fox River and the importance of maintaining ones flexibility and balance. It is also important to maintain one’s sense of adventure and good humor, as there are as many small bridges put up by landowners as there are deadfalls put down by wind, storm and old age.

Thanks to all of the many fine folks that we met and who assisted us along the way. An especially huge thanks to Candice Mortara and the Heritage Parkway folks for encouraging us to write the blog and then actually putting our notes and pictures on their site. Here’s wishing you all many fine days of paddling!
