We need you to help us declare that our two great rivers, forever linked by a dream, are a national treasure!

It is time, and getting people to experience the Fox and Wisconsin Rivers for themselves, to feel their power first hand, is the first step. Join us in this quest, we can do it – together. Please become a member and a volunteer today.

The nuts and bolts we use to achieve the dream: Since our inception in 2009, the Parkway has established itself as a trusted partner to communities along the river corridor, as well as the “go to” organization for numerous public and private interests. We tell the many compelling stories of our collective history, build regional collaboration, facilitate cooperation between heritage and natural resource sites, leverage resources to enhance visitor experience and promote the corridor to encourage increased pride of place, tourism, and economic development. Fueled by our successes, we are proud of our ability to move projects from “wouldn’t it be nice” to “this is going to happen”. This is a testament to our dedicated core of volunteers and—equally important—community and business partners who share a vision and provide the fuel for our engines in the form of collaboration and critical funding.

Connecting key players, interested individuals, and likeminded entities is key to successful projects. A large portion of our ability to connect comes from partnering. We are dedicated to this concept and value the heritage sites, municipalities, community organizations and businesses that have joined in our mission.

It is time to declare our significance! Our rivers are a national treasure!

    Member Information

We rely on partnerships to support us as we continue our dedication to the Fox and Wisconsin rivers. Your annual investment in these rivers through membership builds that very support. And we welcome you to get involved as much or as little as you want. Be a part of seeing the longest accessible water trail become reality. Be one of the first to stay in the 1930s lock tender house and remember how life used to be. Help keep the focus on this great asset we have in our rivers, and share far and wide to bring people here to help feed our riverside communities. Be a part of developing the best itineraries, incorporating the best places in each town, to entice visitors. Or simply pay your annual dues and sit back and know you are still a part of a great thing.

    Volunteer Information

We are continually in need of volunteers throughout the Parkway to serve on committees and assist with projects. Opportunities are available in economic development, fundraising, historic preservation, trail development, administration and natural resources. Time commitments are based on an individual’s availability.

The largest need currently, is in rehabilitation of the Lock House at Little Chute. We have all sorts of skilled and unskilled needs, and a very large job in front of us.

If interested in volunteering, please complete our interest form.
